EXCLUSIVE: Fresh from revelations that Deputy PM Barnaby Joyce has been hypocritically conducting a sexual affair with a junior employee for close to a year despite being married and claiming to uphold ‘traditional family values’, True Crime News Weekly can now reveal that Mr Joyce is at the centre of serious sexual harassment and molestation claims dating back to 2012 and involving multiple women, including a 17-year-old teenage girl.
The various controversies surrounding Mr Joyce could very well soon bring down the Federal Government, with the High Court to decide on Friday whether the Deputy PM and a slew of other federal politicians have been ineligible to sit in Parliament due to them holding dual citizenship. Mr Joyce is a New Zealander by descent on his father’s side.
Whether he is a Kiwi or an Aussie may possibly now be the furthest thing from Mr Joyce’s mind, with fresh allegations that he has sexually harassed or molested a number of women coming on the back of further revelations this week, as exclusively revealed by True Crime News Weekly, that the Deputy PM has been cheating on his wife of 24 years, Natalie, with a female staffer for up to 10 months. The couple have four daughters together aged between 15 and 20.
Mr Joyce’s illicit affair with his employee came about despite the New England MP regularly foisting his conservative, Catholic, ‘family values’ shtick into the public arena, including regular claims that allowing for same-sex marriage in Australia would threaten the ‘traditional marriages’ of heterosexual people like him.
However, it seems Mr Joyce has long held a skewed vision of morality that is sharply at odds with his public image as a salt-of-the-earth, true-blue Aussie family man.
There are now claims that Mr Joyce embarked on not just one affair with an employee but has recently conducted an affair with another female staffer too. According to rumours circling Canberra and Mr Joyce’s home town of Tamworth, there is now gossip that one of the staffers involved may have fallen pregnant and that she has since undergone an abortion. In 2015 while on ABC Television’s Q&A program, Mr Joyce claimed that he doesn’t “agree with abortion.”
Mr Joyce did not provide a response when the rumours about the pregnancy were put to him by True Crime News Weekly.
One source who contacted True Crime News Weekly claims to have been informed of the situation by Mr Joyce’s colleagues in the Nationals party which he leads.
“Party insider told me this… ‘He had an affair with two of his staff. Got one pregnant, she had an abortion. It has been going on for 8 months. They have since left his office and gone to another Nat’s office,'” one text message reads.
It can also now be revealed however that Mr Joyce is at the centre of sexual harassment and molestation claims that date back five years to 2012 and involve multiple female complainants.
It is alleged that Mr Joyce ‘stalked’ a 17 year-old-girl at the Rural Women Awards in 2012 to the point that he “chased” her into a toilet. Mr Joyce himself, a senator at the time, would have been 45-years-old.
A source in northern NSW has sent True Crime News Weekly a series of text messages where Mr Joyce’s alleged harassment of the teenage girl is discussed.
“He also harassed a 17 year old in Tamworth … could be a crime,” one text message reads.
Another message reads:
“Apparently in 2012 he stalk[ed] a 17 year old girl at an event. Sent her so distraught … mother was too scared to come forward but told TW [Tony Windsor].”
It is also claimed that Mr Joyce “molested” another young woman while drunk at the same event.
In just the past 24 hours, Mr Joyce’s bitter political rival, former Independent MP Tony Windsor, has also taken to social media to publicly post details about an eerily similar incident in 2012 involving an unnamed “drunk politician”.
“Who was the drunk politician who chased a young women [sic] into a toilet & molested another after the 2012 Rural Women Awards?” Mr Windsor posted on Twitter late on Tuesday, October 24.
Mr Joyce and his staff have once again chosen not to respond to a series of detailed questions sent by True Crime News Weekly, including whether the Deputy PM believes his position in Parliament was now untenable considering the allegations of sexual harassment which come on top of his long-running adulterous affair and issues with citizenship. We also queried Mr Joyce on whether he had a substance disorder or issues with alcohol use. We also provided Mr Joyce with an opportunity to apologise to any girls or women he may have allegedly harassed.
Many of the nation’s larger media organisations have failed to properly investigate Mr Joyce’s sexual affairs with his female employees on the basis of some cliched, self-serving ‘convention’ about not prying into the private lives of politicians. True Crime News Weekly rejects that weak excuse and has decided to publish these revelations as an example of the hypocrisy the public has to put up with from grandstanding, prying politicians who delve into our private lives with warantless access to metadata and continually harass vulnerable people – from the unemployed, to drug users, to Muslims, to refugees, to the disabled, to Indigenous peoples, to the mentally ill, and of course their long favoured punching bag, the LGBTQI community.
Likewise, many media organisations have also failed to properly analyse Mr Joyce’s relationship with billionaire mining magnate Gina Rinehart and whether he may personally profit from his land holdings at Gwabegar with the introduction of inland rail and coal seam gas production which he has been furiously lobbying for along with other LNP apparatchiks. True Crime News Weekly has been informed that Ms Rinehart once allegedly spent $100,000 buying raffle tickets during a fundraiser held by Mr Joyce.
We will now however wait and see whether the country’s self-proclaimed arbiters of morality in the media decide that allegations of sexual harassment and molestation towards teenagers and young women involving the Deputy PM is a newsworthy story and something the public should be made aware of.
