EXCLUSIVE: Alleged rapist and Attorney-General, Christian Porter, who is accused of viciously attacking a 16-year-old schoolgirl in 1988, went to a Catholic college to lecture a forum of private school students about “right decisions” and what it takes to be a “good leader” just a month after his alleged rape victim died last year, allegedly from suicide. Serkan Ozturk reports.
The now-mentally unwell alleged rapist and supposedly “shattered” Attorney-General, Christian Porter, went to a Catholic school in Perth to talk to a forum of students from a host of private schools about what it takes to be a good leader just one month after his alleged rape victim is said to have taken her life, it can be revealed by True Crime News Weekly.
Porter is alleged to have raped his then-16-year-old victim in Sydney in January 1988 while she was intoxicated. According to the now-dead victim’s allegations, Porter is said to have choked and kicked the then-teenage girl before forcing her to perform oral sex on him. He is then alleged to have anally raped the girl twice while she was slipping in and out of consciousness.
Porter held a press conference on Wednesday, March 3 where he tried to “strenuously” deny the accusations and indicated he would not stand down or resign but also said he would be taking immediate leave from his job on mental health grounds.
It’s a well-worn Liberal Party ploy.
Just a few weeks earlier, it was Bruce Lehrmann – a former Liberal “rising star” and senior adviser to the likes of Defence Minister Linda Reynolds – headed to the mental health ward after being unmasked by True Crime News Weekly as the person of interest in the Brittany Higgins “security breach” alleged rape cover-up.
Before that, we’ve had the likes of sleazy former Lord Mayor of Melbourne and Victorian Liberal Party leader, Robert Doyle, and Porter’s old mate from Perth, the chair-sniffing Troy Buswell, getting themselves a choice reservation at some private mental health clinic.
And now it’s Porter’s turn to get some quality time in a pysch ward.
Sadly, Porter’s alleged victim never got the proper support she required before she died in June of last year, just about six months after she first made a complaint to South Australia police in November 2019.

Destined for great things that never came: The alleged rape victim of Christian Porter was dux of her exclusive private school with many friends at the time predicting she would go onto perhaps become Australia’s first female prime minister (Image: Supplied)
The woman is believed to have died suddenly, only a day after calling NSW Police to tell them she didn’t want an investigation to take place. NSW Police had not taken an official statement from the woman since setting up a task force in February 2020 to deal with the complaint.
Although he may be mentally unwell now, just a month after the woman’s death in June 2020, Porter was co-hosting a leadership forum named after himself in front of a large audience of students from a bunch of private schools.
It can be revealed that on Thursday, July 30, Porter was at the campuses of Holy Cross College in Ellenbrook, about 20 kilometres north-east of the Perth CBD.
The Attorney-General was there for the eponymously-named “Christian Porter Youth Leader Forum”.
Gathered at the Catholic college for the forum were scores of students from Year 11 and 12 from a total of thirteen private schools.
Along for the ride with Porter was former Test cricketer and current Australia men’s coach, Justin Langer.
According to a school publicity blurb written after the event:
“Christian and Justin talked about what it means to lead and be a good leader, using examples from their careers to highlight their points.
“Both Christian and Justin gave the students an insight into what it takes to be a great leader whether titled as a leader or not. They both stressed that leadership was not about making popular decisions, but rather the right decision and everyone is a leader to some capacity.”
We can only surmise as to what some of the school children Porter lectured last year might be thinking this week.
And we can only imagine as to whether Porter thinks he made the “right decision” in deciding to cast his accuser as having made the whole incident up, as he did during his dismal press conference this week.
On a related note, True Crime News Weekly can reveal a possible motivation for why Porter’s alleged victim came forward with a complaint to police when she did, 30 years after the alleged rape.
Just a few weeks before she made the complaint, Porter was waxing lyrical about how tough he was on child sex offenders. On September 3, 2019, the Attorney-General and alleged rapist used social media to claim “the safety of our children” was paramount.
“Last year, 28% of child sex offenders convicted of federal offences did not spend one day in jail – that has to change,” Porter wrote over Twitter at the time.
“That’s why we’re introducing mandatory jail sentences for offenders when Parliament resumes next week. The safety of our children should always be put first.”

Perhaps such a hypocritical message was enough final motivation for his alleged victim to reveal her truth and what happened to her when she was a 16-year-old schoolgirl in 1988. She would walk into SA police headquarters in Adelaide for the first time in November 2019, just a month or two after Porter’s tough-talking tweet about child sex offenders.
Porter’s alleged rape victim was dux of her school, the wealthy St Peters Girl School in Adelaide where annual fees cost parents and caregivers more than an eye-watering $35,000 per student.
As revealed exclusively by True Crime News Weekly yesterday, the school is also the alma mater of Julie Bishop, Amanda Vanstone, Therese Rein and South Australia’s current Minister for Child Protection, Rachel Sanderson.
Many of the victim’s peers expected the woman to also have a highly successful political or legal career, and perhaps even become Australia’s first female prime minister (that distinction would end up going to Labor’s Julia Gillard).
In effect, they thought she would be a “good leader” if not a “great leader”. That never eventuated though. One can only sadly wonder why.

Oh this just gets worse and worse. It’s sick.
Thank you for this article Serkan. Wish there were more people like you in the media.
They can’t help themselves, can they? I hope that at some stage we can get some sort of justice for Kate.
Thank you for the only real laugh I’ve had in awhile. “Chair-sniffing Troy Buswell.”
He didn’t stop at sniffing
Anyone else here remember the Peter Fray / Ben Cubby SMH/UTS-sexual-harrassy stuff?
Because reading this reminded me, that only Serkan went near it.
